Description
Castor Oil is rich in nutrients like Omega 3 fatty acids, flavonoids, ricinoleic acid, Vitamin E, phenolic acids, amino acids, terpenoids, and phytosterols. It is important to note that our castor oil is COLD PRESSED (never expeller pressed), retaining more of the oil's natural nutrients. Think of it as the difference between raw and cooked.
Our oil contains over 92% ricinoleic acid, which allows it to penetrate deeper into the skin layers. Unlike most castor oils that contain around 80% ricinoleic acid and do not specify their content percentage, we proudly list it right on the label! Our castor oil is also hand bottled by the Roots and Leaves Team in Aiken, SC.
Although historically used internally as a laxative, our food-grade castor oil is intended for topical use only. It can be used with our Castor Oil Pack for various wellness routines.
Storage: Each bottle is dated with an expiration date and should be kept in a cool, dry place like an indoor cabinet. No need to refrigerate.
INGREDIENTS
OTHER INFORMATION Please note that castor oil can stain clothing, sheets, and anything it comes into contact with.
