Each hat is individually woven on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi using natural coconut palm leaves gathered and crafted by the family's young Aloha Weavers. Because the hats are handmade from natural materials, no two are exactly alike.
The fresh green coconut leaves gradually dry over approximately 2–4 months, naturally transitioning into light tan or golden-brown tones while developing their own texture and character.
