BENEFITS
Clean, Fast-Acting Energy
- Unlike long-chain triglycerides, C-08 bypasses lymphatic digestion and is transported directly to the liver via the portal vein. It's rapidly converted into ketones—a preferred energy substrate during fasting, low-carb diets, or extended exercise. Research shows caprylic acid elevates plasma ketone levels more efficiently than other MCTs, making BUBS a powerful tool for metabolic flexibility and sustained energy.
Enhanced Mental Clarity and Cognitive Support
- Ketones derived from C-08 readily cross the blood-brain barrier, supplying neurons with a clean and stable fuel source. Emerging studies suggest that C-08 supplementation may support cognitive performance, enhance memory, and potentially mitigate cognitive decline in aging. It's not just fuel—it's neuro-supportive nutrition.
Supports a Healthy Gut Microbiome
- C-10 (Capric Acid) exhibits antimicrobial properties that selectively inhibit pathogenic gut bacteria while preserving beneficial flora. C-10 supports a balanced gut microbiome, contributing to better digestion, immune resilience, and reduced sugar cravings . In preclinical studies, MCTs have been shown to improve gut permeability and promote beneficial bacterial growth.
