Our two-step extraction process breaks down the tough, indigestible fibers and extracts the medicinal compounds like beta glucans, terpenes, and phenols using hot water and organic, grape-derived alcohol. Each mushroom contains unique combinations of nutritional and medicinal constituents that are extracted using this method.
The mushroom fruiting bodies are grown, harvested and dried, then put in jars for the first extraction in alcohol, which takes 30 days. Then those same mushrooms are steeped in hot water for two days for their second extraction of water soluble compounds, creating a powerful medicinal mushroom tincture!
